Assistant Director of Human Resources

We are looking for a talented person to join our team, who will be a trusted advisor to leaders, who can develop effective relationships throughout the organization, and who will not hesitate to roll up their sleeves to get the job done! In this multi-union environment the Assistant Director of Human Resources serves as a generalist and provides assistance to faculty, staff, students and other affiliates for the implementation and administration of College and Human Resources polices and procedures. These include but are not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training and development, employee and labor relations, Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and other workplace accommodations. A firm knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations is a must.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources or related field. Min. 5 years experience in an Human Resource environment that is responsible for benefit administration, recruitment, employee relations, performance evaluation, employee training and HRIS systems.
