The Accountant for Campus Foundations and Related Entities will apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); Federal and New York State regulations; SUNY; Purchase College and Foundation policies to record financial transactions between general ledger and sub-ledgers; resolve discrepancies; prepare financial reports; maintain financial records; prepare and reconcile monthly financial reports; analyze and reconcile transactions between the fundraising and financial systems.

The College has the vibrant support of its foundations which are integral to the success of the College’s academic programs. The position is important in the oversight of the foundations’ financial resources.

Min. 2 yrs exp. with financial accounting, financial reports & analysis. Four-year degree in finance, accounting or related is required. Key attributes: thorough grounding in accounting, strong analytical thinking, inquisitive, efficient organization and communication skills & proficiency with Excel.
