Analyst Programmer 1


Working under direct supervision, the Biomedical and Patient-Centric Data Specialist will be an integral member of the Cleveland Institute for Computational Biology (CICB) Informatics team in 1) understanding multiple biomedical  and other patient-centric data models 2) working with new data models to accommodate new types of biomedical and other patient-centric data 3) working with ETL scripts to integrate biomedical and other patient-centric data into both existing and newly created data models, 4) understanding and utilizing data dictionaries and data schema to support poorly documented data models and new data models, 5) writing SQL queries against existing, newly created, and combined relational data models and 6) learning from training materials created by other members of the CICB Translation Informatics Team and external customers and collaborators.

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in business, computer science, healthcare information technology or related field. Experience in healthcare, biostatistics/epidemiology, or other medical research discipline preferred.
