Chief Information Officer
SUNY Orange County Community College’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be a thoughtful and creative leader who will develop and implement a highly collaborative technology environment that engages students, enhances the learning environment, and maintains the most rigorous administrative support systems possible. The CIO will create a close and highly collaborative working relationship with the vice presidents and implement a master plan to ensure that the College is technologically advanced, secure, and positioned for continuous improvement.
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or related field
Experience Required: Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Assistant CIO/CTO, or as a director or administrator of technology in a large and complex information technology organization.
