Coordinator of Plant Facilities
Responsible for the planning, directing and supervising of utility plant, building repair, maintenance and grounds departments. Manage environmental improvement projects and programs. Prepare and maintain appropriate records and files. Prepare reports and presentations and related work as required. Work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Plant Facilities and/or designee. Leadership and supervision is exercised over custodians, head custodian, grounds, utility plant and maintenance personnel. Must be available to work evening and weekends if needed.
An earned Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field. Minimum three years of experience in a similar facilities management position. Proven computer literacy and CAD proficiency is necessary. Good verbal and written communication skills. Master’s degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
