De-Escalation Program Manager

The De-Escalation program is intended to provide support to an environment of open and respectful communication and problem-solving between and among clinical treatment teams, patients, and their families. Healthcare systems may not allow adequate access to, nor be adequately responsive to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and other groups.

The De-Escalation Program Manager will lead an inter-professional team and processes that will support patients, families, and the clinical team to approach challenges in a safe, equitable, trauma-informed framework and reduce the need for de-escalation and utilization of security and law enforcement.

Five years relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience

Master’s Degree in related area such as social work, psychology, family counseling, human services, etc

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, other healthcare profession, or a combination of comparable clinical education and/or experience
