UCLA Health Chief Information Officer

Reporting to the Vice Chancellor, Health Sciences, with dotted lines to the President, UCLA Health and Dean, David Geffen School of Medicine, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead a strategic and integrated information technology function that services and supports the efforts of the entire health system and aligns with the overall organizational mission, vision and strategy. As a senior leader, the CIO will create and maintain high functioning teams, cultivate a culture of transparency and fairness, and possess a deep commitment to mentoring and developing staff. The CIO has oversight of $223M in labor/operating costs and $28M in capital expenditures in addition to supervision of 8 direct reports and 922 full time employees.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience as a senior Information Technology leader in a large, complex academic medical center.

* Master’s degree (preferred).
