Instructor/Assistant Professor of Communication/Speech Studies

Rockland Community College is seeking applications for the position of Instructor/Assistant Professor of Communication/Speech Studies

Essential Functions:

  • Plan and teach speech courses (including Intro to Speech and electives)
  • Play an active role in the academic and curricular review; design/develop and assess curriculum including revising Learning Activity Plans and degree sheets
  • May be expected to have daytime, evening and weekend assignments in the same semester
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Education and Certification:

Master’s Degree in Speech or related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
