Principal Wireless Network Engineer — UCLA HEALTH

The Principal Wireless Network Engineer is the subject matter expert taking the lead role in wireless network architecture, design, planning, assessment, and implementation. You will be responsible for ensuring that policies, standards, procedures, and how-to documents are utilized and followed, and you will provide day-to-day support of the 24 x 7 production environment of the enterprise network/VoIP (core, distribution, wired & wireless access layers, AAA servers, IPAM, DHCP, VoIP systems, WAN, and network/VoIP monitoring). You will also be responsible for the NAC (Network Access Control) on wired, wireless and VPN.

You will be expected to participate in the weekly rotational after-hours 24×7 on-call support and perform other assigned tasks.


  • 10+ years or more hands-on experience with Wireless Networking, including recent 5+ years’ experience on Aruba wireless
  • 5 years or more experience delivering network and/or security solutions
  • 3 years or more experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus series switches
