Research Project Coordinator (JobID: 41095)

The Exercise and Health Lab in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University is looking for a full-time research project coordinator. This person will work on a NIH funded study using technology to promote physical activity among cancer survivors. The ideal candidate should have prior research experience, good communication and writing skills, a strong work ethic, work well on teams and be organized and detail-oriented. Priority will be given to individuals with experience supervising others and a background in: cancer survivorship, behavioral interventions, kinesiology, exercise science, psychology, public health, or a related field.

The project coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the study including preparing research documents, participant recruitment and retention, participant visits, technology maintenance, intervention delivery, data collection and management, and preparing IRB and funding agency reports. There will be potential opportunities for co-authorship on abstracts and manuscripts.
