This position is part of a highly collaborative and dynamic research team led by Dr. Namratha Kandula of the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Dr. Nilay Shah at Northwestern University.
This position will work on an NIH funded project known as the Mediators of Atherosclerosis in South
Asians Living in America (MASALA) study. MASALA is the first longitudinal cohort study in U.S. South Asians to understand what factors lead to heart disease and guide prevention and treatment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research and excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, fluency in a South Asian is required. This position will participate in data collection and analysis across multiple study sites.
Successful completion of a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years’ research experience required. Preferred experience in Clinical Trials and community engaged research or advocacy.
