ASSISTANT REGISTRAR– GOUCHER COLLEGE:

This position plays a key role in policies, strategies and best practices related to student records, registration, graduation, records management, the integrity of student data, and reporting/analytics

This person will work with Welch Center faculty, staff, and students,, as well as with the Office of the Registrar, Academic and Administrative Computing, the Office of Communications, and Student Administrative Services to implement and oversee policies and procedures related to matriculation, enrollment, registration, retention, and graduation.

Education:

Required:  Bachelor’s degree.

Professional Experience:

Required:  2-5 years progressive experience with registrar/student systems in a higher education setting. Demonstrated experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying academic policies and procedures.

Coordinate with the Office of the Registrar and Welch Center to develop and disseminate reports on student and faculty data, including MSDE, TPIP, Teacher Staffing, MAAPP, course preparation clearance, and outside reporting (e.g., Peterson’s survey).
