The position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Main Campus HVAC building automation systems (BAS) and other controls. This involves highly technical work in the installation, set-up, commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of moderately-complex building systems level controls including network controllers and field controllers for air-handling units (AHU’s), terminal units, variable air volume (VAV) and constant air volume (CAV) systems, exhaust fans, chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, energy recovery units, etc. and instrumentation. Independently investigates & analyzes building level network (BLN) controls systems components, recommends changes, implements repairs & verifies results for proper operation. Runs reports to analyze equipment operation & efficiency (ex., PID loops, instrument calibration, building schedules, etc.).
