Director, Theatre Production

Reporting to the Theatre and Dance Department Chair, this position manages the collaborative efforts and communications among all parties involved in Auburn University Theatre and Dance productions.

The Auburn University Department of Theatre and Dance is dedicated to the education and professional training of theatre artists, scholars, and audiences within a liberal arts environment.

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

At least two years of professional experience in theatre management.

Minimum Skills and Abilities

Candidate must possess knowledge in all areas of theatre production, Actor’s Equity guidelines, and OSHA requirements.

Candidate must also be able to use MS office effectively. Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively is essential.

Minimum License and Certifications

Valid Driver’s License.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in Fine Arts from an accredited institution in theatre production management/stage management is desired.

Salary Range

$45,100 – $75,100
