Intake Rep – All locations – GAYLORD HOSPITAL

The Intake Representative is a patient facing position, responsible for greeting and checking patients in as well as, running patient’s insurance information through eligibility scrubber, collecting patient co-shares at the time of service, answering phones, calling patients to schedule appointments and reconciling monies collected at the end of each day.

Requirements:

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

*Minimum of two years of experience in a health care setting, medical office, or insurance environment preferred

*Customer service experience required

*Basic computer literacy required

*Word and Excel spreadsheet skills required

*Cash handling experience required

*Knowledge of insurance benefit plans including, but not limited to: Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Worker’s Compensation and managed care required

*Familiarity with basic medical terminology with CPT4 and ICD-10 required

Flexible 40 hours, varied shifts

Clinic hours:

Monday – Thursday 7am-7pm, Friday 7am-6pm
