Anticipated Hiring Range: $31,200-$44,897

This position is located in the Masonry Department which is a sub-part of the Buildings

Department/Facilities Services at East Carolina University. This position reports to the Masonry

Department Supervisor. Primary duties include the application and repair of plaster (including

inspecting buildings for water damage and other needed plaster repairs). Other responsibilities

include the following masonry skills: brick and block laying, installation of brick pavers, concrete

pouring, form work and concrete repair, ceramic tile installation, drywall installation and

finishing, masonry waterproofing, and other related masonry projects. Extensive walking and

lifting of heavy objects will be required. Normal working hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00

pm; however, temporary adjustments will be necessary during summer operation.

Requires High School diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies

necessary to perform work.
