Conducts experimental research lab work and/or assists in design of one or more specific phase(s) of entire project(s). May complete mathematical calculations, computer tasks and/or assist in judging validity of data. Follows appropriate protocols, policies, procedures, regulations, Good Clinical & Good Lab Practices.

Supports teaching labs in two depts – Chemical & Biological Engineering (ChBE) and Biomedical Engineering (BME). Will repair and maintain equipment in undergrad teaching lab; assist with ordering/tracking chemicals & supplies, hazardous waste mgmt and disposal; assist in dev. & construction of new and/or improved experiments.

Qualifications
Completion of 4-yr course of study at accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher deg. in a scientific major or related; OR appropriate combination of education & exp.
